The Urban renewal of Adamawa envisioned by the Governor of the State, Rt Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has been described an achievable one in the near possible future.
A stalwart of the people’s Democratic Party (PDP), Mohammed Ibrahim Attah (Baba Ami) said the Governor is more than serious to overhaul the infrastructural status of the state.
“One thing I want you to know, Governor Fintiri is a serious-minded person and he can even do more than what he has promised to do for the people of Adamawa in this government.” Attah said
According to him, the massive infrastructure projects being embarked across the twenty-one local government of the state by Governor Fintiri will no doubt boost the socio-economy status of the state.
He said Ahmadu is meticulous and hard-working by being frugal in managing the state’s resources to what is now seen as a miracle in doing the massive projects across the state.
“Most a times I do wonder how he gets the money to do all these things he is doing, you are aware that covid-19 have battered the world’s economy, nothing seems to move well in the country, but here we are with the Governor that knows the way and goes the path finding money to run the affairs of the state.” He added
Attah who is a commissioner three-member on the state’s pension board said he has no doubt the Governor will run the affairs of the state successfully because he has started well and he will certainly end well.
He further said that the recent visit of Rivers’ state Governor, Nyeson Wike who inspected a lot of projects in the state is an eye-opener that Fintiri is now busy working the work and a time is coming that is only going to commission hundreds of projects across the state.
