The chairman of Maiha local government area of Adamawa State, Hon. Idi Amin has commended soldiers for neutralising bandits leading to the recovery of eleven rocket launchers and three grenades.
A statement by Abdulganiyu Pakka, SSA Media and publicity to the chairman, urged resident to be security conscious and give security operatives the needed cooperation.
The statement noted that the need for more vigilance was necessitated by security reports indicating that some bandits who escaped military onslaught in Zamfara State are coming into Adamawa and settling in Maiha local government.
The chairman saluted security agencies for their untiring support in protecting lives and property in Maiha local government and beyond.
The local government shares international border with Cameroon republic making it susceptible to the epidemic of inter-border related crimes.
