Insecurity: Adamawa Hunters Leader renews commitment to fight Bandits, kidnappers and others

The acting chairman Nof ortheast Hunters Association, Modibbo Idris Usman Tola has expressed commitment to partner with security operatives in curbing activities of Bandits, cattle rustlers, insurgency, Kidnappings, and notorious Shilla boys in Adamawa State.

He stated this at his official inauguration in the Mayo-Belwa local Government secretariat on Saturday.

Earlier, the secretary general of the Hunters Association in the Northeast Muhammad Ibrahim had officially resented an appointment letter to Modibbo Idris Usman Tola saying his contributions elevated him from the organizing secretary of the association to the position of acting chairman.

Speaking, the Senator representing the Southern zone of Adamawa State, Senator Binos Dauda Yaroe pledged legislative support to the Hunters Association at the national level in all their activities.

Member representing Mayo-Belwa Constituency, Nasarawo Bingeri Constituency Babangida Njidda urged the acting chairman to emulate the leadership qualities of Late chairman Muhammadu Usman Tola in coordinating the fight against Criminal activities.

The lawmakers noted that the bill currently on the floor of the House of Assembly on the regulation of Hunters if passed into law and assented would give ground for their operations.

The Permanent Secretary of Security Government House Yola, Suleiman Usman Pallam pledged government commitment to continue supporting Hunters in their operations.

In his vote of thanks, the acting chairman of Northeast Hunters Association Modibbo Idris Usman Tola Commended Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for logistics support to Hunters in their effort to support security operatives in coordinating the fight against Criminals, pledging to do more for a peaceful and secure environment.

There were Goodwill messages from various stakeholders that graced the occasion.
