The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Kaduna State chapter, has called on its faithful to be vigilant and fish out bad eggs in their communities to ensure sanity and peaceful coexistence in the state. Its chairman, Rev. Ma’aji Caleb, made the call when clergymen from the TEKAN/ECWA bloc of CAN, Kaduna State, paid him a courtesy visit in Kaduna.

“We need to be watchful and say something when we see something wrong in order to fish out bad eggs in society,” he stated. “It’s only when we are vigilant that people can live in peace and undertake their legitimate businesses.”
He assured that Christians in the state would continue to work in collaboration with the state government to fish out bad eggs in society for the overall progress and development of the state and the country.
According to him, “As leaders of the Christian faith, we’re trying our best to encourage our people to be law-abiding and watchful against individuals who seek to destabilize the existing peace that the present administration is trying to maintain.”
He added, “As church leaders, we must be honest and straightforward in all our dealings, telling our followers the truth about every situation to get the best results. We should continue to partner with those in authority to ensure a peaceful, united, and progressive society.”
The chairman thanked them for their support and assured them that together, they would pray for God’s wisdom on those in leadership positions and for the harmonious coexistence of the state.

Earlier, the leader of the TEKAN/ECWA bloc of CAN, Elder Ejoka Enalegwu, said they visited the state CAN office to identify with the chairman, pray for him, and encourage him to lead according to the teachings of the Holy Scripture for the success of the church, state, and country.
