Insecurity didn’t start from the present administration – Fayemi stresses

Ekiti State Governor and Presidential Aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Femi Kayode has stressed that the high rate of insecurity bedevilling the affairs of this Country Nigeria did not emanate from President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.

Governor Kayode, who stated this at Fast Track Hotel in Jalingo, the Taraba State capital while canvassing votes from Party Delegates from the State, added that the security challenges started in Nigeria over a period of time.

“Insecurity did not start during the present regime”,  

“The problems of security challenges in Nigeria could best be tackled first by looking at the root causes via Law and order, recruitment of required security operatives and effective use of our traditional institutions as well as improvement of the technological architecture of the Country”, he said.      

He further noted that the menace of insecurity can only be tackled when Nigerians begin to recognize the level of poverty, inequality and unemployment rate and try to bridge the gap which if not properly checked Nigeria will be consumed.      

The APC Presidential Apirant pledged to establish a Leadership Training where according to him, all categories of Nigerians in Leadership positions will be trained on how to be acquainted with their jobs to serve the public better.

Kayode also described Taraba as the most beautiful State in Nigeria stressing that its beauty and splendor drew his attention to the State.

“I will tap the State’s natural endowments particularly in the Mambilla Plateau when I become President”, said Kayode.    

Responding, Taraba former Deputy Governor and a Chieftain of APC Barrister Uba Maigari appreciated Governor Kayode for visiting the State and assured him that Delegates of APC Taraba will support his Aspiration.
