The international women day was commomerated in Yola with a conferment of an award to Dr Abdullahi Dauda Belel by the National Association of Community Health Practitioners of Nigeria.
The Adamawa State chapter of the association said Belel is the pioneer executive chairman of the agency that transformed the Primary Health Care not only in the state but in Nigeria as a whole with unprecedented development.
While reading his citation they described him as a grassroot servant,meriting the award that has never been given to any one in the state.
The award inscripted that:”it’s in recognition of your contributions and service to primary health care in Adamawa state”.
The award of excellence further described Dauda as somebody that,saw came and conquer the myriads problem bedevilling the agency.
