Counsel to Honourable Vrati Nzonzo, the All Progressives Congress, APC, candidate for Lamurde, Numan, Demsa federal constituency area of Adamawa State, Barrister Shagnah Pwamaddi said the judgment passed in favor of his client elated the Constituents of Laurie.

Shagnah said the town was thrown into wild jubilation as many supporters of APC and the people of the area desiring were praising God for the verdict.

Nzonzo who is hoping to be the 2023 house of representatives member of his primary election was challenged by George Mwatapwa Ibbi Bobby, the plaintiff of exclusion to participate in the primary.

Yesterday Hon. Justice Ekwo of Federal High Court No. 5 Strike Out The Case Filed by Bobby who was not in court his Lawyer, and there was no reason given for their absence in court.

Shagnah said the Plaintiff caused psychological damage and created an unnecessary distraction and demanded the cost of N5 million against George Ibbi Bobby.

“The Applicant Filed a Case Claiming of Unlawful Exclusion During APC House Of Reps Primary Election Conducted on the 27th day of May 2022 that declared Hon. Vrati is the winner.

“During the trial, the Applicant (Bobby George ) failed to Establish nor Prove Substance thereby all reliefs sought by the Applicant were refused and struck out for lack of Merits,” Shagnah said

Shagnah also said that the jubilation is a crystal clear sign APC will have an overwhelming victory in the coming 2023 general elections.

“No doubt APC will take over Adamawa by God’s willing.” He said
