It’s not all that is politics, count SGF Boss out of Fintiri’s TBS Award, group says

Group under the umbrella of Mr. Synergy Media said politicians should save Boss Mustapha, the Secretary to the government of the federation (SGF) the peace of joining issues with the award to be represented to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, the Governor of Adamawa state.

The group in a statement signed by Comrade Musa Usman Terrang said The Best Strategic (TBS) Media award to be represented is not only to Ahmadu as Governors Nyesome Wike and other ministers were carefully nominated for the award.

The Mr. Synergy Media Group in an effort to clear the air said politicians should shun primordial vested interest in politics as it is not all things that are politics.

They said the innuendos going around by some vested interest on the Award that will be conferred on the Adamawa State Governor, Fintiri by TBS in collaboration with the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation and Presidential Award Committee it’s not Boss” business

According to the statement signed by Usman said peddlers over the award misconstrued information and they don’t know that OSGF is not a personality but a formal administrative setting.

They revealed that the office Mustapha occupies has about three-story buildings on over one thousand square meter plot with five permanent secretaries, thousands of staff, and more than twenty agencies with their distinct duties and constitutional responsibilities and his role has nothing to do with Awards and its Nominations.

“The Awarding Organisation, the TBS is an independent survey group, and the OSGF nor Presidential Award Committee doesn’t make nominations, recommendations, or selections of whatever kind to the TBS.

“The OSGF and Presidential Committee do not interfere with TBS report on proceedings where detailed analysis on how they arrived at their reports and presented to the public is to be made on the 21st of the month where the President is expected to present the Award.

“Unknown to the fifth columnist on the issue is that; not only Gov. Fintiri’s name made the list but also Gov. Nyesome Wike’s other governors and Ministers. It is a National Award and not a political party affair.

“Remember on record, SGF Boss Mustapha has no record of anti-party activities nor has ever supported Gov. Ahmadu Fintiri in 2019 and beyond.

“To set the record straight, SGF Boss was amongst the major stakeholders that stood firm against Fintiri in 2019

“Advisably, we must not play politics with all official issues, let us not be shrouded by sentiments and emotions when appraising government and governance.

“As a people and political party, let us work together in unison towards winning the 2023 elections rather than looking for faults among team members within the party, please.” The statement read
