Senator Ishaku Elisha Abbo (Cliff) of Adamawa Northern Senatorial District in an interview with this medium said his views and actions as an opposition Man of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is checkmating the Government of PDP under the leadership of Rt Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri to do what is being expected of them to do for the overall interest of the state.
He said he has waked up Fintiri and all his political allies, camps and associates to give back what belongs to Adamawa masses under their custody, putting them on their toes is what he vowed to do until he leave power in 2023.
Abbo said his passion to liberate people from the clutches of poverty is doing quite a number of people’s oriented programs which is connected to poverty alleviation and empowerment programs for the people of not only Adamawa state but for the entire country.
He revealed that his recent program, which was innovated to empower Nigerian Youths, especially those from Adamawa state is an idea to birth out millionaires amongst them in few years to come.
According to him the the second trench of the SIA Friday give away has compelled an ally of the Governor to came up with a “copy-copy” program of empowering fifty Youths on an unscheduled day only God that knows when the program will hold which is perceived having intention to benefit the people of the zone with self glorification.
Ishaku however observed that the “Cash Maduwa” that is set to give out money to fifty Youths is a “hypocritical stolen vision that lacks genuine intention for the people.
” We pushed them to do what ordinary they wouldn’t have done, I know these people too well, they never meant well for our State and our people, our stiff opposition is yielding results, though not quite much but certainly we will compel them to do more because they are a mere custodian of our common wealth.
“We will keep on making them to work for the people, this is because they will soon vacate the office for me for the continuation of the people’s mandate and people’s better policies.
” It’s rather unfortunate the Governor’s ally is a stealer of vision because he lacks the idea to see or create one, I will only forgive him if he do what he said he will, else I will consider him a Man With a vaunting glories and a Man who remain and he will ever be a senior liar to our people.” Ishaku said

Abbo continued to say that as a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria he will keep on doing what the electorates have voted him to do despite the desperation of Governor Fintiri to stop him from working for the people of Adamawa state.
He said Ahmadu used crude and uncivilized way of politics to frustrate the electrification of Michika and Madagali where over 430 Million Naira was approved by the Federal Government through NEDC.
“When Fintiri got wind of it, he rushed to site in the night and start playing electrical poles to stop the FGN from doing it so that it won’t be a double contract for one Job.
” Fintiri also is taking the Rural roads glory done by Federal Ministry of Agriculture, MCRP and NEDC” Abbo said
He unraveled that in a sooner possible time he will make hundreds of Youths millionaires from the Northern Senatorial zone with his SIA give away prices haven liaise with many local and international NGOs, donor agencies and federal government agencies for the laudable program.
“I’m intended to give back to the society as a way of telling them thank you. Haven supported me so much as a young man to grow. People helped me so much to be where I am today.
” I’m hoping the beneficiaries will continue to inject these winnings ( money) into their businesses, I hope my small actions will also inspire us to do more good and unite us.” He said
When contacted the Press Secretary to Governor Ahmadu,Mr Humwashi Wosikou said Senator Abbo is being economical with the truth because he knows better when he was in PDP that the Governor came with an eleven point agenda and commenced work in Adamawa in earnest.
He reminded Abbo that Fintiri is one of the Governor that came into office with a blue print and hit the ground running in his first day in office.
He further said that the opposition are not in any way the reason why he is working because he do not know that they exist in the state, but he focuses on the agenda to bring a new Adamawa into existence.
“It’s not because of opposition he is working, i can tell you confidently that our Governor is working because he came with a blues print, he knows exactly what the people in Adamawa people need and the entire state.
” I don’t expect Abbo to talk on this because he was in PDP and is very much aware that Governor Fintiri is a leader with Adamawa at heart, he is working wonders before his defection to APC so why would he said it’s because is giving the right opposition that is making the him to work?
“I’m happy that the opposition knows the Governor is working.” Humwashi said
