A candidate of the Labour Party in the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Mr. Christopher Andrew Jalo was described to be a Man with a sure bank chance to win the Girei constituency seat in the coming 2023 general elections.
A Labour party loyalist in the state, Mallam Kabiru Mohammed said the All Progressives Congress, APC, lawmaker currently representing the area have woefully failed them, and changing him is the best option.
Aliyu said that APC as a party is performing below the expectations of many people, according to him there is going to be a counterblow of a wind of change to replace the party in 2023.
He said the same wing that blew in 2015 and chased out PDP in power, a wing of a very high magnitude will blow again in 2023 to blow out APC, and parties like Labor will take over the area and the state in general.
Kabiru revealed that the Labour Party is fortunate to have good candidates like Christopher Jallo, a grassroots politician who has served the constituency, and many politicians in various capacities and parties.
According to him, Girei constituents are ready for replacement, describing Jallo as a Man of the moment that can give a better and more hopeful representation.
He made a passionate call to all and sundry to eschew politics of religious bigotry and tribalism and focus on the candidate that can attract dividends of democracy to them.
“Over the years, it’s unfortunate our people don’t know what and who is the right man for us in the state Assembly. The present Lawmaker to me is just a bench warming that his eight years are almost like a waste of time, resources, and energy with no idea to change the ugly narratives.
