Jamilu, SPPG alumnus revives Adamawa Library, plants trees and donates recreational centre

An Alumnus of the Prestigious School of Politics, Policy and Governance (SPPG) and Co-founder of Adamawa Business School Leads Renovation of Adamawa State Library

The Adamawa Business School proudly announces the successful renovation and handing over of the Adamawa State Library and the newly established recreation area. This significant event marks a pivotal moment in the enhancement of educational resources and community development within the state.

The ceremony, held at the Adamawa State Library premises, was graced by distinguished guests, and the Special Guest of Honor, Bishop Dami Mamza, a distinguished member of the Adamawa Business School advisory board.

Their presence underscored the importance of the project and the collective commitment to advancing education in Adamawa State.

Jamilu Yusuf, an alumnus of the prestigious School of Politics, Policy and Governance (SPPG) and Co-founder of Adamawa Business School, expressed his gratitude to God Almighty for the strength, wisdom, and perseverance to complete the renovation project. He also extended heartfelt thanks to Governor Fintiri for his unwavering support and visionary leadership.

In his welcome address, Yusuf highlighted the transformation of the library, which was entrusted to Adamawa Business School by the state government as part of their corporate social responsibility.

“Our aim was not just to renovate a building but to rejuvenate a vital resource for learning, growth, and inspiration within our community,” Yusuf stated.

Quoting renowned author Sydney Sheldon, Yusuf said, “Libraries store the energy that fuels the imagination. They open up windows to the world and inspire us to explore and achieve, and contribute to improving our quality of life.”

The event also featured the symbolic planting of trees within the library premises, an initiative aimed at enhancing the recreational space and promoting environmental sustainability.

This green initiative is a testament to Adamawa Business School’s dedication to creating a healthier, more beautiful environment for future generations.
The ceremony concluded with a ribbon-cutting event, followed by a guided tour of the renovated library.

As the library was handed back to the state government, Yusuf reaffirmed the commitment of Adamawa Business School to the development and progress of Adamawa State.

“Through education, innovation, and sustainable practices, we can build a brighter future for all,” he said.
