June 12: Reps Namdas to Commission Hospital, Schools, Others to mark Democracy day

As part of programs scheduled to mark the 2021 Democracy Day and commemorate the second year of his second term in office, the member representing Ganye, Jada, Toungo, and Mayo-Belwa federal constituency, Hon. Abdulrazak Namdas will be commissioning a level two Primary Health Care hospital built at Bajama community of Mayo-Belwa local government of Adamawa state. The fully equipped hospital is fitted with solar power, a borehole, and doctors’ quarters.

Also, the lawmaker will be commissioning two blocks of two-bedroom apartments at doctors’ quarters of Jada general hospital, an outlet of the Federal Medical Centre, Yola.

Hon. Namdas said the move is aimed at ensuring quality delivery of health care services to the people of the benefiting communities.

” As part of my responsibility as the representative of my constituency, I have been able to lobby for the construction of a primary health care facility in Bajama community. We are in a time when the need for healthcare facilities has become enormous owing to the health challenges we’ve been bedeviled with. I’m confident that the health facility will go a long way in reducing the hardship people of the community go through to access such facility and services” Namdas said.

Speaking on the doctors’ at Jada, that lawmaker said it will be used by doctors of the federal medical Center who visits the hospital for consultancy and treatment of complicated health cases.

Hon. Namdas will also be commissioning a block of 3 classrooms at Koma, a block of 3 classrooms in Binyeri and Gangnisa respectively.

Within these two years, the lawmaker who chairs the house community on the army has facilitated the enrollment of over 80 youths from his constituency into the Nigerian army, and many more into the police and other government agencies.

The lawmaker has also build boreholes in many communities as well as provide science equipment and furniture to schools in his constituency.
