The Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon Babazango Abaza who contested the Yola South/Yola North/Girei federal constituency won his appellant case instituted against Abba Girei of the PDP.
Babazango challenged the outcome of the National Assembly election against Girei over certificate forgery, election irregularities.
The appeal court voided Girei election and gave to Babazango as the dully elected House of Representatives (HoR) member of the Adamawa Federal constituency.
When contacted, with over joy Babazango replied : “my mandate was returned me”.
