Just in: Sanda Ngilari’s cabinet member acquitted by Adamawa Court over corruption charges

Adamawa State High Court of Justice presided by Hon. Justice Nathan Musa, has just discharged and acquitted former Commissioner Ministry of Finance, Jonathan Sanda Lamurde, accused of corruption.

Barr. Jonathan Lamurde, who served as the Commissioner of Finance during Govermor Ngillari’s regime, was dragged before the court by EFCC.

Equally, Hon. Justice Nathan, has discharged and acquitted, Abdulrahaman Bobboi, erstwhile Protocol Officer to former Governor Bala James Ngillari, alleged to have diverted the sum of N8.140 million.

The EFCC in its 3 count charges before the court, alleged that Bobboi, who is the Political Adviser to Governor Fintiri, diverted the amount of money which was meant to trasnsport food items to Internally Displaced Persons.
