An aide to Honorable Munirat Suleiman Tanimu, a member representing Lere East in the Kaduna State House of Assembly was alleged to have abused a minor.

Isah Abdullahi who is well known as Isa Mai adashe or Chairman has rendered the life of the Minor useless (name withheld) for having carnal knowledge of him in Angwan Mangu, Sabon Layi, Saminaka of Lere Local Government area of Kaduna State.

The victim of Isah rascality was reported by local media as an Almajiri who was raped on many occasions and warned not to tell anyone.

The thirteen-year-old Boy is critically laying sick in Barau Dikko Teaching Hospital, Kaduna helpless looking for help from concerned citizens.

The Almajiri in a pitiable condition narrated that Abdullahi raped him on many occasions without giving him anything (food), except during Sallah periods he normally sews clothes for him.

According to him ten days before the last Sallah celebration Abdullahi has been sleeping with him through his anus and because of the sickness he incurred as the result of the incident he couldn’t use the clothes he bought for him for sallah celebration.

He cried out for help and begged all the people, especially the authorities concerned to fight for him.

“I’m sick, I’m dying someone should help fight for my rights.” He said

Zayyanu Haruna who is the teacher of the Minor further explained that is the victim’s Uncle and his Islamic teacher at the same time.

“Honestly this boy is going through hell, we need support from well-meaning Nigerians to help us out. He just needs support and prayers.” He said

The Doctor in Barau Dikko declined to comment and shifted blame to the Nigerian Police for not giving a formal report of the Boy’s true situation to establish a rape case.

Mallam Bala who is the national leader of Sangaya (Almajiris scholars) lamented that in the nine days they spent at the hospital no security agencies came to talk more about giving an official report.

Checks by Tgnews further revealed that some top government officials are doing all they can for the matter to be swept under the carpet.
