The Kaduna State branch of the International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA, and Kaduna Multi-Door Courthouse ADR Center have commended Governor Uba Sani for the appointment of one of their own, Gloria Ibrahim Esq as Commissioner for Youth Development.
State Chairperson of FIDA, Barr Funke Bamikole, in a statement on Friday in Kaduna applauded the Governor, noting that FIDA has always been at the forefront of affirmative action championing women in leadership positions.
“We thank His Excellency the Governor and hope we expect more in this regard,” Bamikole stated in the release.
In the same vein, the Deputy Director, ARB/MED & Media Kaduna Multi-Door Courthouse ADR Center (KDMDC), Her Worship, Sa’adatu Hamma who described Gloria Ibrahim Esq as an accomplished lawyer, mediator, and civil rights advocate, said her appointment was well-deserved.

“Your unwavering commitment to justice, equity, and the empowerment of young people stands as a beacon of hope and transformation,” Her Worship Hamma noted in the statement.

Recall that Gloria Ibrahim Esq was appointed commissioner for Youth Development alongside two others after a fresh cabinet restructure by Governor Uba Sani on Wednesday.
