The Inter-Party Advisory Council of Nigeria (IPAC), Kaduna state chapter, has inaugurated its steering committees during the IPAC General Assembly meeting held at Bafra Hotel, Kaduna, over the weekend.
In his inaugural speech, IPAC Chairman Hon. Ahmad Tijjani Mustapha emphasized IPAC’s role as the umbrella body of all registered political parties in Nigeria, with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as a member.
He highlighted IPAC’s mission to facilitate dialogue, protect political entities’ interests, and uphold transparency and fairness in the electoral process.
The IPAC Chairman also highlighted his administration’s achievements, including establishing a bank account for IPAC and inaugurating steering committees, which were absent for five years
Mustapha noted that IPAC plays a vital role in ensuring the vibrancy and credibility of Nigeria’s democracy and good governance. He expressed his commitment to shaping Kaduna State’s political landscape, promoting collective interests, and enabling good governance and accountability.
The IPAC Chairman also highlighted his administration’s achievements, including establishing a bank account for IPAC and inaugurating steering committees, which were absent for five years.
He expressed pride in creating a sense of belonging and direction for IPAC during his seven months in office.
“We were elected and sworn in on February 5, 2024. In our short time in office, we have made significant progress, including opening a bank account and establishing steering committees, as stipulated in our code of conduct,” Mustapha stated.
