Ismail Sahabi, a lecturer at the Federal College of Education in Zaria, Kaduna State, and a public commentator, has been released from captivity after being held for 31 days.
Sahabi was abducted on July 17th in Kasuwar Magani, Chikun Local Government Area, along with his brother, Sidi Aliyu Sahabi, and others. They were released on Friday.
This incident is the latest in a series of kidnappings in Kaduna State, which has raised concerns about the safety and security of residents. Recently, a traditional ruler and three children of a customary court judge were also abducted, sparking widespread criticism of the state government’s handling of the crisis.
