Gunmen attack private university in Kaduna, abduct students
Abductors of students of Kaduna-based private university, Greenfield University, have demanded a ransom of N800million for their release.

Already, the abductors have contacted parents of the kidnapped students to demand payment of the collective ransom.

They threatened to kill the students if the ransom is not paid.

It was learnt that negotiation for the ransom had already begun.

Georgina Stephen, cousin to one of the kidnapped students, confirmed the development.

She claimed that 23 students, including 14 females and a staff of the university, were among those abducted.

She disclosed that the kidnappers have been beating the abducted students, warning the parents that they’ll kill all the students if the ransom is not paid.

Another parent, who craved anonymity, confirmed the development, disclosing that the kidnappers had demanded a collective ransom of N800 million.

But the parent could not confirm the number of the students in the den of the kidnappers.
