Bandits in Kaduna have changed tactics and are now calling residents with threats to demand payment of a N10 million ransom or be kidnapped from their homes.
Shafiu Abdullahi has reportedly told Operation Fushin Kada police security that he has been receiving threatening phone calls demanding N10 million, with the callers threatening to also kidnap him if the ransom is not paid.
The police have arrested two cattle rustlers and two notorious gun runners, and have foiled a kidnapping attempt, recovering one fabricated AK-47 rifle with ammunition.
