Kakaba: Journalist in Adamawa set to battle chairmanship seat of Demsa LGA

A veteran journalist and fiery publisher, Mr. Dennis Kakaba has consolidated his ambition of becoming the next chairman of Demsa Local Government of Adamawa State after obtaining nomination form of the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

Kakaba a journalist, cum politician had a successful stint as the chairman Bidoma Development Area before returning back to the pen pushing profession.

Bouyed by the excellent services he rendered when he served as chairman Bidoma Development Area, friends and well wishers purchased nomination form for Kakaba in order to benefit again from his excellent leadership.

A number of residents of Demsa local government interviewed by our reporter expressed willingness to support Kakaba saying he has the experience, exposure, integrity and most importantly the knowledge to serve them well.

A youth leader in the area, Victor Friday urged the aspirant to go to sleep as the youths have already endorsed his aspiration.

“We asked him to join the race because we know the stuff he was made up. He has the charisma, knowledge, exposure and the capacity to serve us the dividends of democracy we so much crave for.

“He has done it before and we believe if given the chance he will more than replicate what he did in the past,” he said.

Kakaba has already purchased the nomination form amidst pomp, pageantry and massive solidarity by youths and women of the area.
