Kama Blasts Jalo Abba II, says is a trash liar to have given a skewed analysis on Bindow

A post by a social media user, one Jalo Abba II who according to Nurudeen Kama has given a skewed view to have adjudged that the regime of former Governor of Adamawa state, Sen Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow was evil.

Kama blasted Jalo and replied his naive vies with convincing facts over a statement he (Jalo) said:

“It is extremely dangerous for us to allow former Governor Bindow and his supporters to try to paint a picture that never existed.

“Bindow’s rule was evil, simply put. He was so incompetent that he couldn’t pay state & LGA salaries.”

The Kama, a former senior aide to Senator Bindow addressed the points raised by Jalo as follows:

“It is either you are mischievous or ignorant of what governance or elections are all about. Yes, I mean it.

“My reasons are simple, governance does not begin and end with payment of salaries, if it does, then Bayelsa State Governor who cannot pay salaries for 13 months won’t have been reelected as a Governor. In Benue state, Ortom got reelected without paying salaries for 6 months. In Kogi state, Yahya Bello got reelected without paying salaries for about 10 months.

“Please compare the achievements of the 3 Governors listed with the achievements of Bindow in terms of infrastructure and social amenities, at the end of the day you will find out that they need additional 20 years to come close to Bindow, yet they were reelected because they are not evil for not paying salaries.

“Now let us talk about the challenges faced by Bindow and his chances.

“From May 29th, 2015 to March 2019, Bindow has never failed to pay the salaries of workers under the payroll of the state government. Therefore, you have lied to have included state workers in our trash.

“With regards to local government workers, it is quite unfortunate that they have experienced hardship due to lack of salaries but I can tell you this from experience that no Governor in Nigeria or elsewhere will deliberately refuse to pay workers salaries, not even Ortom who claimed that workers will be drinking alcohol with their salaries and bashing him, not even Yahya Bello that will hide under verification exercise. It was also on records that Bindow has paid local government workers their arrears even though the verification exercise which was supposed to have weeded ghost names on the payroll of local government workers ended up being inflated by the same civil servants you are making a case for.

“I can give you an example with Ganye Local Government Admin Department, this department has about 400 Ghost names under its payroll and about 16 Million Naira is being pocket by only a few individuals in the local government Admin and they are not evil but Bindow is.”

Nurudeen opined Bindow is one of the best former Governor Adamawa state people were fortunate to produce in 2015.

He further advised that if APC want to win election in 2023 without much stress they should give the Governorship ticket to Bindow.
