Katsina State Governor Radda Losses Mother, Hajiya Safara’u

Katsina State Governor, Dikko Radda, has announced the passing of his mother, Hajiya Safara’u Umaru Barebari, who died at the age of 93. According to a statement released by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, Hajiya Safara’u will be laid to rest at 4:00 pm in Radda Village, Katsina State.

The Governor’s office has offered its deepest condolences and prayed for Allah to grant Hajiya Safara’u eternal peace in Jannatul Firdaus

The state government described Hajiya Safara’u as a woman of remarkable strength and dignity, with wisdom gained from decades of life experience. Beyond being the mother of Governor Radda, she nurtured generations of leaders and community pillars, including the current Village Head of Radda, Alhaji Kabir Umaru Radda, and Hajiya Hauwa Umaru Radda, former wife of the late President Umaru Musa Yar’adua.

Hajiya Safara’u’s legacy extends far beyond her immediate family, inspiring those who knew her with her values of integrity, perseverance, and community service.
