In a bold operation, police operatives in Adamawa State have raided a kidnapper hideout, neutralizing one suspect and arresting another. The operation, conducted by the Anti-Kidnapping Unit in collaboration with local hunters, targeted a hideout in the Holma Mountains, Song Local Government Area.


According to police spokesman SP Suleiman Nguroje, the suspects opened fire upon sighting security operatives, prompting a gunfight that led to the death of one suspect, while others fled with bullet wounds. Authorities recovered an AK-47 rifle, two locally made guns, and five rounds of live ammunition.
The arrested suspect, identified as Mohammed Sale, is in custody and assisting with investigations. The police operation is a significant blow to kidnapping activities in the region, and authorities are working to apprehend the fleeing suspects.
