Kidnappers from Yobe recruiting Adamawa indigenes arrested, as police rescue victims

A Press Release from the Adamawa police command has arrested a syndicate group of nine kidnappers in the Song Local Government Area of Adamawa state.

The statement signed by the command image maker, DSP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje said findings so far reveals that the first and the second suspects came from Yobe State and recruited the third to ninth suspects and they eventually formed a syndicate to be carrying out Kidnapping activities.

The statement further said that the Operatives of the Command attached to Song Division arrested nine suspects involved in the Kidnapping of one Babawuro Damuwa and Yerima Musa of Song Village On the 18th December’, 2020

The suspects include Ndam Usai (29years), Buba Adam (22years), Buba Alim (39years), Bodi Kulawal (25years), Sale Musa (28years), Babiri Gula (23years ), Abayel Ahmadu ( 28yrs ), Sani Muhd (24year) and Abdullah Hassan (36years) all residents of Dapshi and Song of Yobe and Adamawa states Conspired, Kidnapped and Demanded Four Million as ransom.

“Upon receiving the report, The Commissioner of police OLUGBENGA ADEYANJU, FDC, deployed combined operatives of Police and Hunters, who eventually rescued the victims and apprehended the Suspects.

” Investigations further reveals that the gang planned to carry out the second kidnap before their arrest.

“Meanwhile, as part of efforts at tackling Kidnapping activities and other related offenses the Commissioner of Police OLUGBENGA ADEYANJU, FDC, working in concert to deepen intelligence and strengthen security in the State.
directed the suspects be arraigned in court on completion of investigations.” The statement read
