Kumangar: Adamawa Perm Sec gets Akwa Ibom Traditional Title

The Akwa Ibom Community Traditional Council, Adamawa State chapter has bestowed a Chieftaincy title on the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Information and Strategy, Mr Solomon Kumangar.

According to the statement jontly signed by the chairman and Secretary General of the Council, Chief Sunday P. Ikon and Elder Charles Ekot, the title was bestowed on Kumangar due to his unrelenting support to Akwa Ibom community at all times.

The statement says the actual conferment event will be conducted during the grand ceremony of Akwa Ibom Day celebration, slated on the 26th September, 2024 in Adamawa State.

“We the members of Akwa Ibom Community Traditional Council- AdamawaState Chapter under the ebullient leadership of His Royal Highness (HRII)Chief Sunday Philip Okon – Obong Ndito Akwa Ibom 2m’, wish to convey the goodwill and respect of all Akwa Ibom indigenes resident in Adamawa and Taraba States to you for your magnanimity of heart in support of the ideals of community building and human capital development.

“Your unrelenting support for Akwa Ibom people at all times was most profound during and after the grand coronation ceremonies of our amiable leader to whom you had proved the truth behind the dictum that; ‘a friend in need is a friendindeed’.

“In respect of these rare attributes of service to humanity, we consider you worthy to be honored with an award of title that will convey our full sentiments of appreciation to consolidate the good relationship you share with Akwa Ibom people anywhere you go.

“Sir, please be informed that the actual conferment of your Title will be conducted during the grand ceremony of Akwa Ibom Day celebration which will come upon the 26th September, 2024 in the presence of all Akwa Ibom people here and representatives of Akwa Ibom Traditional Rulers Council that will come from home.

“We sincerely hope that you will accept this honor as a token of our appreciation of your unrelenting service to our communities, our states and our nation Nigeria. Please accept the highest regards of Akwa Ibom people over this nomination, ” says the statement.
