In his quest to bridge the infrastructure gap in education across rural communities of the Numan/Demsa/ Lamurde federal constituency, the National Assembly Member, Hon. Kwamoti Laori sponsored the construction of block 3 of classrooms in Ngodogoron, Ngbakowo Ward of Lamurde LGA.
The project which is constructed in fulfillment of a campaign promise made to the people by the Lawmaker in 2019 has been described as a remarkable achievement.
The donation was celebrated In a colorful Commissioning ceremony, witnessed by well-wishers political associates, and friends of the area.
At the event, the Lawmaker also donated Books and writing materials to the School to further motivate the pupils to cultivate the habit of learning.
In their response, while thanking the lawmaker for his efforts, the Head Teacher, Earnest Sheambo and other Community leaders demanded for more Teachers in the school.
Gyawana State Development Area Administrator who was at the entourage of Hon Kwamoti promised to recruit Teachers on an ad-hoc basis to be paying them a monthly stipend of #25,000.
The Hama Bachama who was represented by Kpana Rigangun, Chief Linus Anonoma applauded the Laori’s Giant strides in the area of education.
The event was witnessed by top government officials as the Deputy Speaker of the Adamawa State House of Assembly, RT Hon Pwamwakaino Mackondo, Commissioner Youth and Entrepreneurship Development, Hon James Iliya, Commissioner Tertiary Education Hon Dishi Khobe, Administrator Gyawana Development Area, Hon Bulus Daniel, Mr. Menas Nganguran, and a host of others were all in attendance and graced the occasion.
Village Heads from surrounding Villages also graced the occasion and expressed delight towards the developmental feat.
The highlight of the event was a cultural rendition displayed by cheerful inhabitants of neighboring villages who adorned the roadsides while singing and dancing to welcome the lawmaker and his entourage.
