The Lamido Adamawa, Dr. Mohammad Barkindo Aliyu Mustapha, has expressed his appreciation to the Governing Council of the Federal College of Education Yola for maintaining a cordial relationship with the emirate.
This gesture was made when the 8th Governing Council, led by Chairman Engineer Saheed Johnson, paid a visit to the Lamido’s palace. The Lamido, speaking through the Galadima Adamawa Mustapha Aminu, congratulated the council members on their appointment and urged them to continue striving for excellence, aiming to make the college the best in the north east and the entire country.
The Governing Council members, accompanied by the Provost, Deputy Provost, Registrar, and other top management staff, informed the Lamido that their visit was to identify with the emirate and express gratitude for his fatherly advice and royal attention.

The Chairman assured the Lamido of the council’s commitment to elevating the college to greater heights. The Provost, Dr. Mohammad Usman Degereji, corroborated this, stating that the visit was to appreciate the emirate council’s support, which has contributed to the college’s successes. He also assured the emirate of the college’s unwavering loyalty.
This visit marks the first by the 8th Governing Council to the Lamido since their inauguration by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
