Honourable Kamoti B Laori Member House of representatives Representing Demsa/Numan/Lamurde Federal Constituency has commissioned a multi-Purpose Hall, a community meeting town Hall.
Town Hall was dedicated in honoured of the late Wazirin Mbula, Chief John Eddy Manassa of blessed memory in Borrong, Demsa local government area of Adamawa state.
Speaking at the event, the member paid tribute to the late Waziri Mbula for his efforts in uniting the people and prayed to God Manassa’s efforts of unity, peace and mutual understanding to continue to remain within the people of Mbula kingdom.
During the commissioning event of Medan Teneke’s Town Hall Demsa town, Laori recalled that some of his constituents asked him to be given the block of classrooms which he built in Lasala, Gwamba Ward.
He built also JJ Fwa examination hall in Mbula area, and the John Eddy Manassa hall which was inaugurated in Borrong last Saturday.
Hee appealed to the people of the constituency to continue to approach him with ideas that will move the people of his constituency forward and assure them that his ears are open at all times to listen to their needs.
The representative member revealed how he implemented various infrastructure projects in the areas of Education, Health, Electricity, Drinking water and other important parts in almost 90% of the 30 political wards that comprised of the Demsa/Numan/Lamurde Federal Constituency.
He said in Demsa Local Government it’s only Dilli Ward is yet to get one of his project and is soon going to do a unique project in the area.
In her speech shortly before the inauguration of the multi-purpose hall, Professor Kaletapwa G. Farauta, Deputy Governor of Adamawa, praised the member for bridging the gap and providing infrastructure in his constituency, where she called for the maintenance of the place and management and workshops, wedding receptions and other important social gatherings in the area.
Among the dignitaries who attended the event were the member representing Demsa Local Government in Adamawa state House of Assembly and the majority leader of the House Hon. Kate Mamuno, and the member of representing Numan local government in the state House assembly, Hon. Pwamwakaino Makondo.
Orthes are chairmen of Numan, Demsa and Lamurde local governments, and Hon. Hardly Dilli, Barr. John Tunor, Hon. Happy Maxwell, Barr Leader Teneke, Hon. Elkanah Kados, Hon. A.A Sadat, Hon. Satina, Chief Niwesa George, Dr. Ben Direi, Hon. Malena John Manassa, and a host of political friends and stakeholders too numerous to mention.
The important events of the event include the parade of traditional players from the communities of the Mbula kingdom, Horseman and many introductions in poems and essays.
Murum Mbula, who received dignitaries in his palace was represented by Chief Lawsom Gadiel, District Head of Borrong at the event.
