Former Governor of Adamawa state, His Excellency, Mr Boni Haruna mourned the death of former Inspector General of Police (IGP), late Gambo Jimeta.
Boni in his tribute message said the former IGP Jimeta made Adamawa proud.
“His death is not only shocking, but a monumental loss to Adamawa and Nigeria as a whole. He was a worthy son of Adamawa who made the state proud through his meritorious service in various capacities to the nation.
“I offer my condolences to his family, His Royal Highness, Lamido Adamawa and the entire Adamawa Emirate Council. May the Lord comfort his loved ones and grant them the fortitude to bear the loss of this distinguished Nigerian.” Boni said
