Adamawa Senator representing the central zone, Engr Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed Binani condoled state council of Nigeria Union of Journalist (NUJ) over the sudden death of one of its active member, Alh. Ibrahim Abdulaziz, a reporter with Voice of America (VOA), covering Adamawa and Taraba states.

Aishatu in a condolence message said Ibrahim’s death is a great lost not only to His family but the state and country at large.

In a press statement made available newsmen, Sen. Binani consider the sad event as an irreparable lost and a created big gap to the noble pen profession in the States of Adamawa and Taraba.

“I received with deep shock, news of the demise of Ibrahim Abdulaziz a vibrant, reliable and hard working journalist who has joined our ancestors” she said.

While expressing her profound sympathy to the bereaved Family, VOA, Gotel communications, Premium times, Nigeria union of Journalist Adamawa state chapter, the State and Country, for the great lost.

She said the deceased died at a time His counsel and contributions are needed to help in creating a new Adamawa state.
