Late Paul Wampana is a rare patriot – Ribadu Consoles family members

The pioneer chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Malam Nuhu Ribadu has described late Senator Paul Wampana as a rare patriot whose impact will be sorely missed by Nigeria.

In a glowing tribute he wrote, Ribadu said, Adamawa State and by extension Nigeria has lost a strong pillar of democracy whose imprints will remain indelible in the sands of time.

“Wampana has been a major plank upon which Adamawa APC rests. He is a man of peace and has given his all to ensure the prevalence of sanity in Adamawa APC.

” We have benefitted from his patriotic demeanor, wisdom, his strong stance to ensure equity and fair play in Adamawa State and Nigeria.

“While condoling his family, relatives and friends, I wish to note that I’m particularly deeply pained by his death but derive solace in the fact that Wampana has lived a life worthy of emulation,” Ribadu said.
