The Adamawa State House of Assembly has strongly condemned the killing of two young men by military and customs officers in Mubi South LGA. The victims were shot while transporting fuel on motorcycles, sparking outrage and calls for action.
During a sitting on Tuesday, the assembly adopted a four-point resolution, urging the security agencies to operate professionally and address multiple checkpoints in Mubi.
The assembly also directed its Committee on Security to liaise with federal lawmakers to find a lasting solution.

Colleagues condoled with him and spoke against the brutality, emphasizing the need for security agencies to operate within the law.
The Speaker, Rt. Hon. Bathiya Wesley, directed the clerk to communicate the resolutions to the relevant authorities, seeking justice for the victims and their families.
