Disturbed, perturbed, and wane by a recently leaked audio linked to one Suleiman Adamu, Yola South local government caretaker chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) of Adamawa state, the immediate past Governor of the State, Senator Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow told this medium that he has committed himself to President Muhammadu Buhari’s agenda of selfless service to Nigerians since he left government in 2019.
Jibrilla in an exclusive interview with our correspondent via telephone chat distanced himself with the said viral audio link to Suleiman raining abuses to President Buhari.

According to him, the meeting they had with some APC stalwarts of Yola South is in line with the calling of the National leaders of the party to unite all warring factions for a total winning in the coming 2023 elections.
“The unity Yola South is in dare need of considering the arch enemies existing among the stakeholders, who we are looking for a way to seal up the loopholes as it can be injurious, catastrophic, and cancerous to the overall unity of the party in the state.”He said
He worried about his name being dragged into the mud for his staunch loyalty to President Muhammadu Buhari who is his leader and a father he revered at all times.
The former Governor however reiterated his commitment to following president Buhari as his political leader, vowed to support him at all times as the audio is never in a way connected to him.
” As a leader of our party in Adamawa, I felt I’m duty-bound to protect, unite and defend the interest of our party. This I can also do in defending the interest of President Buhari, my leader, and my father.
“I had a privilege of good parental upbringing, our culture and norms do not permit us to rain abuses on our leaders. This I have as a principle never to insults, fight or join issues with anybody, talk more of going to the extent of identifying with anybody that can do that against President Buhari who is much more my father.” Bindow said
While describing it caught in the web of mischievous evil men who want to destroy his relationship with Buhari and his political career, he reiterated his unshakable loyalty standing strong in the solid rock of obedience to his lead.
You would recall that Suleiman denied wishing President Buhari dead with coronavirus and described the leaked audio to have been doctored by APC enemies.
