Chairman Adamawa Concerned Citizens, Alhaji Hussaini Gambo Bello Nakura said the Executive Governor of Adamawa State, Rt Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri cannot caged him down with deaths threats
Nakura said he want the whole world to know that the Governor has set a plan in motion to terminate his life because of his firm decision to defend the truth and the general interest of Adamawa people.
Gambo on a viral recorded leaked audio, our correspondent understood his conversation with the Fintiri in Hausa of which the Governor is heard saying that:
” Billahillazzi inka sake magana Na Zan chi Mutunchi ka, kuma ba maitaimakon ka , wallahi tallahi zanchi Mutunchinka, Billahillazzi zanchi Mutunchi ka in ka sake Magana a Kai Na.”
Their Hausa conversation is interpreted that:
” I will deal with you if you ever say anything about me and no one will save you.”
Checks by our correspondent, however, revealed that Governor Ahmadu outrageous statements were in connection with a video interview on Voice of Arewa online (VOA) Television where Gambo accused the Governor of hoarding Federal Government palliative.
In the interview (VOA) Gambo accused further the government of been insensitive of diverting the hoarded palliative, selling them to some black marketers in Yola.
Governor Ahmadu was however refuted Hussaini’s in a video interview with the media while on inspection to the places hoodlums carted away properties worth billions of naira and many destroyed.
In the video, Fintiri said he has no hatred on any Adamawa citizens but his government is for the entire people of the state to enjoy.
Governor Fintiri was remorseful to the extend of the damage done by the hoodlums, worried that his government is focused on development to start economy recovery and expect all and sundry to support him.
“It’s not all about the Governor, it’s about all of us, our common interest, people should have patience, the committee in charge of the palliative does not completely receive the goods by volunteers supplying them for distribution.
“The palliative care not in the Market and houses of government officials as people are saying and propagating, is for all of us, as I said the patient is not there because they saw it happening in some other places,” Umaru said
He insisted that the palliative in the ware house does not belong to either State nor federal government and the committee in charge of the palliative have not yet finished collecting the good for onward handing over to the state government.
Hussaini Nakura in his interview with our correspondent vowed never to keep silence for the sake of the masses and the Governor threats are morale booster to keep him defending the interest of Adamawa people.
He said Governor Ahmadu was outrageous to threaten him as he has the Constitutional right to say his opinion regardless it is in the interest of the masses
“No man can stop me from saying my own opinion because I’m Constitutional empowered to have freedom of speech, Fintiri can’t stop me because is the Governor, as a matter of fact, he is not a good politician to have engaged in such a manner and way.
” Image a Governor that came under the wings of people’s votes, a Man that enjoyed masses’ support be where he is and is the same man has now given death threats. I’m waiting for him to do his worse, as for me, I can’t stop telling him the truth.” Gambo said
