The Catholic Bishop Of Yola Diocese and the State CAN Chairman Bishop Stephen Dami Mamza challenged Christians to pray fervently for Nigeria during the Lenten season
Bishop Mamza says it is pertinent for the prayers looking at the insecurity situations bedeviling the country, charged the body of Christ to have a chain prayer that can salvage the nation from the current situation
The Bishop also advised Christians to use the period to help the less privileged in all ramifications, pray for Christian leaders, and of course, unity should be the topmost priority of the body of Christ
The CAN Chairman however disclosed that this year’s Lenten season is unique, hence the need for Adamawa Christians to continue to work together for the peace and progress of Adamawa and Nigeria in general
Bishop Mamza assured Adamawa Christians that under his leadership as CAN Chairman, he will do everything possible to provide policies and programs that will be of paramount importance to the body of Christ in the State.
