The organizing secretary of the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Adamawa State, Alh Hamza Madagali has dismissed allegations by the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) insinuating that PDP will not follow due process during the oncoming local government polls adding that APC is the most unjust, dysfunctional, corrupt and arrogant political party in the state.
Madagali who dismissed the allegation as mere rantings of a dead party, said, going history lane it was even the APC that stifled the democratic space during its inglorious days in power.
“APC should stop shedding crocodile tears. It is the most unjust, corrupt band arrogant political party in the state. It is on record that when it was in power, the party by hook and crook did not concede even one position to the opposition political parties in the state.
“But in our case, the APC has won elections in Yola and Lafiya Lamurde and yet we did not deny them their victory so how APC comes up with such a spurious allegation baffles me, ” he said.
Madagali insisted that the opposition party is rattled by the phenomenal successes of the Fintiri led administration which informed the PDPs surging popularity saying that the false alarm being raised by APC will in no way improve its electoral fortunes in the local government election.
Reeling out the developmental strides of the Fintiri led administration, Madagali noted that unlike before where dividends of democracy is the exclusive rights of the few, the Fintiri led administration has ensured that every nook and cranny has benefitted immensely from his government patronage.
“During our campaign tour to all the 226 wards, we made electoral promises which we have fulfilled to the satisfaction of the people.
“We have spread developmental strides across all the local governments from Toungo to Madagali and from Mubi to Shelleng which is unprecedented in the history of the state.
“Having shortchanged the people when they led the state which is in sharp contrast to what is happening now, APC can only spread lies to the people thinking that such will make them relevant again,” Madagali said.
