Story by the news guide

A stalwart of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Adamawa, Alhaji Abdulnasir Bindow said the party is dead in the state because its lack unity and failed in having constant meeting with critical stakeholders.

Abdul Nasir who is the Party’s Chairman in Maiha Local Government revealed this during a stakeholder meeting to fine-tune, brainstorm ways how the party will be much united and better building to 2023 General Election.

Bindow during the meeting with the Commissioner of water resources, an indigene of Maiha, Hassan Kaigama, the Council Chairman, Hon (Dr) Idi Aminu was in attendance where Nasir lambasted that the party has not been fair to its loyal members.

The meeting which was held in compliance with an instruction by the Governor of the State, Rt Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri that all the twenty-one Local Government party’s loyalists should have a monthly meeting every last Saturday with stakeholders.

The plan of our correspondent later unraveled is to unite the party and serve as a channel of mitigating all party’s differences.

The monthly meeting was also to serve as a medium of communication and feedback to the central leadership of the party in the state.

It was on the above premise that the Local Government party chairman according to an attendee of the meeting who prefers his name not to be mentioned lambasted the stakeholders of the party for not helping matters in the state.

“Stakeholders of previous Government are in a constant meeting to deliberate on issues of party’s interest and progress, unlike ours.” Nasir Said

Another attendee who granted an interview to our correspondent, Sule Bayero worried about the Chairman’s unguided utterance and said is not surprising because he has been fingered to be a mole in the PDP party in Maiha.

According to him Abdulnasir’s tenure has even ended and wonder what business is he still doing in the party, he blames the stakeholders for making a wolf mingle around the innocent sheep of the party.

He revealed that the Chairman has secretly done a lot of havoc for the party, betraying the trust of leadership on him to the detriment of all party members.

“What do you expect from a Man whose conscious has been sold out? He has betrayed the confidence of leadership reposed on him that is why he has the moral ground to say what he has said.” Sule said

Sule said Abdulnasir Bindow is incapable as his out bust turned the last Saturday meeting into a rowdy session.

He further said that the Chairman is full of selfish interest and sentiment, this has failed him to realized that PDP in Maiha under the leadership of Idi Amin is waxing stronger than it is known.

“In the history of Maiha no Chairman was able to break the jinx of underdevelopment than Idi, he has constructed feeder roads, rehabilitated many others in the area, and electrify many communities.

” Under the leadership of Idi Maiha is experiencing a peaceful atmosphere unlike before that kidnappers, cattle rustlers and all forms of banditry are having their field day and their operations seem to be going unabated but Idi drastically stamped down their activities

“It is because PDP in Maiha is reigning supreme as a party to always win elections, Aminu has attracted the attention of federal government over the issue of insurgency and other related crimes, he initiated a security synergy with the republic of Cameroon to end transborder crime between communities of Maiha and other parts of Cameroon.

” With these achievements how can an individual say PDP is dead in Maiha? I think the Man is set to join the bandwagons of defectors because he has been romancing with them.” Sule Said
