Maiha LGA Council leader resigns…… Chairman congratulates new Speaker

There was a mild leadership reshufflement in Maiha Local Government Council of Adamawa State followed a voluntary resignation of the council leader.

Hon Haruna Makshak of Humbutudi Ward had “honourably” and voluntary resigned and paved way for Hon Sa’adu Kolwa,the councillor representing Sorau ‘A’ ward emerged the new leader of the council.

Haruna in a letter addressed to the council chairman through the clerk of the chamber dated 10/2/2020/ shown he has Honourably resigned,appreciated his colleagues for their support and cooperation while in office.

While thanking Sa’adu for his good time and wealth of experience shared in piloting the affairs of the Local Government,Executive Chairman of the Council, Hon Dr. Idi Aminu Congratulate Hon Sa,adu Kolwa as he emerged the New Speaker of the Legislative Council.

Kolwa alongside his new Deputy Hon Ibrahim Idi,Councillor representing Maiha Gari ward, and the new Majority Leader,Councillor representing Pakka ward,Hon Raymond Pakka for their new office,he pray for wisdom in moving the council forward.

The Chairman, Aminu Urged the newly elected leaders of the Council to work toward creating concrete laws and team up as partner to bring more devidends of democracy to the people of Maiha.
