A suspected car thief, Sunday Bidemi, has been apprehended by police officers from the Masaka Division in Nasarawa State. The arrest was made possible by a tip-off, which led to the recovery of a stolen Toyota Corolla with the registration number ABJ 730 KE.
According to DSP Ramhan Nansel, the Police Public Relations Officer, initial investigations revealed that the suspect stole the vehicle in October 2024. The car belongs to Barrister Wilson Egwun, a lawyer based in Wuse II, Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
Nansel stated that the investigation showed the suspect took the vehicle sometime in October 2024. The Commissioner of Police, Nasarawa State Command, has instructed that the suspect be charged to court once investigations are complete.
