Senator Ishaku Abbo Elisha (Cliff) has wept over the destruction of goods Worth hundreds of millions in the last week’s fire Inferno that engulfed Yola Market in Yola South Local Government area of Adamawa State.
Abbo commiserated with the Business Men and women who are the victim of the Ill-fated fire disaster and admired their resilience in the face of such adversity.
He described it as a testament to the inner strength of a community and a people and called on the entire people of Adamawa State to come together to support one another and rebuild what has been lost as it was a trying time for all.
In a press statement the, senator Abbo penned that:
“My dear people of Yola,
My heart aches as I write to you in the wake of the devastating fire outbreak in our beloved city of Yola. Words can not express the sorrow I feel for the losses you have endured over the Market and NNPC fire outbreaks where hundreds of Millions of Naira were lost.
“I want you to know that you are not alone. I stand with you in solidarity and shared pain.
“May the light of hope guide us through this dark hour, and may we emerge stronger, united, and more determined than ever before.
“May God Almighty restore your wealth as he did to Job.”
“With heartfelt sympathy.” He prayed
