The enrollment of the National Identification Number (NIN) has been described as an important integral part of national growth and development by the hopeful House of Representatives Member, Mallam Mas’Ud Ibrahim Usman.
Aside from its national importance, the All Progressives Congress, APC, candidate for the federal constituency of Toungo, Ganye, Jada, and Mayo Belwa said it is also good for every individual to enroll.
According to him the importance of the registration made him organize three days of free enrollment for the entire people of the zone who were not opportune to enroll before.
Usman in an interview told our correspondent in Yola that he sponsored NIN registration officers to ensure his people are enrolled before 2023.
The media director of Mas’Ud campaign organizations represented by the Publicity Secretary at event, Mr. Kizito Kevin also said the flag bearer has his people at heart and knows the benefit that they will derive from the enrollment.
According to Mr. Kevin, the hopeful Federal lawmaker facilitated the exercise to make his people have a biometric that will give them access to a good socio-economic lifestyle.
While appreciating the large heart of Ibrahim, a beneficiary of the program, Sani Jada said the centers initially established by the federal government are not enough to cater to the large population of the zone.
He said with the free NIN center sponsored by Ibrahim he is confident that everyone in their various communities will be enrolled.
“I want to register my heart of gratitude to this young man, I was unable to enroll before but now I’m one of the enrolled persons, I’m so happy to have gotten the opportunity to do that. I can’t thank him enough, and may God give him all his heart desires, most especially the seat of HoR.” He said
