It is with great joy and fulfillment that I formally add my voice to the well wishers and the entire Modibbo Adama University community in celebrating and congratulating the newly sworn-in Students’ leadership most specifically our kid brother, Comrade Arch. Fahad Usman Terrang and the entire Executives and the Student’s Representatives (Senators).

I had wanted to felicitate with the newest Students’ leadership earlier than now, but was too preoccupied recently with my PG Exams and other key responsibilities.

Their election victory is indeed a no mean feat. Even though was not a surprise because good thing sells itself. I am proud, elated by the overwhelming support and victory at the polls you guys enjoyed during your electioneering campaigns.

This election is a genuine attestation of your good human relations, humility, intelligence, and high level good team playing spirit, which are the hallmarks of electoral value, success and victory.

Even though we all wished you win the presidential position, but politics is a give and take and a game.

In the absence of the top, which is believed to have been decreed, the Vice President which you won, is equally a good leadership breeding ground and a key responsibility which depends on your handling style and your tenacity to remodel it to the desired yearnings and aspirations of the students.

My dear brother, Fahad, your President and the entire leadership, elections has come and gone, leadership is a serious commitment.

I advise you to distinguish yourselves very well while discharging your new roles; read harder too which is what took you to MAU and what qualifies you and your colleagues to the new responsibility in the school.

Unionism is not radicalism, it can be fun, derailing, tempting and with full of exuberance. I advice you guys to know how to adjust gaining both the Character and Learning intermittently while distinguishing from confrontation and lobby in quest to meet up to the students yearnings and aspirations.

Where both may conflicts, Learning should always take the lead. Leadership is about patience, changing the narratives for good and adding value to humanity and the system atlarge.

In the journey, you come across alot of people, experiences and encounters, always make your anger far to reach, appreciates anyone you come across, celebrate people and wish people the very best. Furthermore, never hesitate to help others at what ever point in time but conventionally.

In conclusion, let me on behalf of the Terrang’s Family,
appreciate MAU students for believing in one of us, and giving him such a huge mandate.

To everyone who supported the actualisation of this course, we say a very big thank you. To our big brother Engr. Abubakar Usman Terrang and others we appreciate you all.

I wish you successful tenure and best wishes in your academic pursuits. Best wishes Mr. V.P Fahad a colleague to Kamala Haris of the United States
