Spiritual Director of the Adoration Ministry Enugu, Father Ejike Mbaka, has said that the Pope and Vatican would clap for him if they know he is challenging ‘evil governance.’
He stated this in response to the threat by the All Progressives Congress to report him to the Pope and Vatican.
The APC made the threat after Mbaka lambasted President Muhammadu Buhari, describing as a failure and admonishing him to either resign or be impeached.
The Presidency, also in its reply to the cleric attack on Buhari, had said that Mbaka who rooted for Buhari both in 2015 and 2019 presidential election made a U-turn from supporting Buhari because the President turned down his request for contracts.
But, on Sunday, speaking to members at the Adoration Ministry, the Catholic priest dared the APC to go ahead and report him to Pope.
He said, ”Why I don’t want them to report to Rome is because If the Pope hears the extent of my involvement, they may give me a position I might not like.
”Don’t think you have a thing to report to Rome. If Rome hears that Fr Mbaka is challenging evil governance, Rome will clap for me
“I dare them to go ahead and report me to the Vatican. I will really like that because I will really love that.”
