Mbula Kingdom honors President Tinubu’s aide, Adamawa speaker, Atiku’s son, 19 others with trad’l titles

The Royal throne of Mbula traditional Council has honored the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Humanitarian,
Hon. Delu Bulus Yakubu
Duh’kil (Heart) Of mbula kingdom.

His Royal Majesty,Murum Bwaltam Biyapo, Mboiman II honored Delu, Atiku’s son,Hon Adamu Abubakar Atiku alongside 20 notable Sons and Daughters of Adamawa State with unprecedented crowd who converged on Borrong, the Traditional Headquarters of Mbula Kingdom to witness the investiture.

The title holders earned the Mbula kingdom coronation because of their meritorious contributions and worthy ambassadors of the Kingdom in their various fields of endeavor.

The palace was full to capacity, probably as a result of the uniqueness of the event, that for the first time in the history of the Kingdom, such a huge number of illustrous sons were being honoured.

It was also the very first time, the chiefdom is honouring friends of the Kingdom in an effort to build bridges across neighbourhood to purposely facilitate access and attract development to the kingdom.

His Royal Majesty,Murum Bwaltam Biyapo, Mboiman 11 has in his wisdom, decided to expand the number of title holders to accommodate some Mbula sons and daughters selected on merit to form part of the honourary advisers of the Kingdom.

According to the Paramount Ruler, the decision to recognize and honour our sons, daughters and friends is to launch Mbula Kingdom into the global platform for global partnerships with a view to bringing scientific and technological approach to farming giving the water and other mineral resources abound in the kingdom.

Furthermore, the essence was to foster unity, inclusiveness and understanding amongst the sub clans of the Kingdom,noting that the awards had clanish consideration for equal representation and inclusiveness in the decision making especially on issues of Development and social security, Murum Bwaltam added.

While thanking His Excellency the Governor of Adamawa State for his love for the Mbula Kingdom, Murum Mbula said the road project will open up the kingdom and attract further development to his kingdom and called on his subjects to support the Government in all spheres of it development initiatives.

He also thanked all traditional rulers from far and near for their support and brotherliness and appealed for synergy to sustain the existing peace currently enjoyed in the state.

Murum Bwaltam therefore implored all stakeholders especially those joining the league of legends of the Kingdom to be proactive and see their selection as a call to service and an opportunity to contribute their quota to the growth and development of the Kingdom.

Those honoured includes Prof.Barminas Tsware, the DG NARICT, Chief Medan Fwa mni,Mr Senan Murrey,a veteran Journalist and Media Consultant,Mr Micheal Kingsley,Mr Boniface Zebulun,Akham Jallo,Hon.Wenakam Fwa and Mr Hardley Peter among other sons and daughters.

Others Conferred with the Mbula titles are the Speaker, Adamawa State House of Assembly,Rt Hon.Bathiya Wesley,Hon.Kate Mamuno, the Majority Leader of the State Assembly,Adamu Atiku, Aloysius Babadoke among others are friends of the Kingdom selected based on their relationship and contributions to Mbula Kingdom.
In his remarks, the Chairman,Main Organizing Committee,Dr Noris Stanley Giscard congratulated the Murum Mbula HRM, Bwaltam Biyapo for taking Mbula Kingdom this far within a short period he ascended the throne.

He said the success of the programme was as a result of the leadership qualities of the Murum, and appealed to the awardees to live up to their expectations and responsibilities in the in the interest of Mbula Nation.
Highlights of the event was the cultural display of the rich cultural performance of the Mbula Cultural dances and horse race among others.
