Team Manager of Adamawa United Football Club, Barr Ijamul Emmanuel Tsamdu has commended Multi sectoral Crisis Recovery Project under the leadership of Chief Dr Maurice Vunobolki for presenting sports items worth over ten million Naira.
The gesture which was presented by Maurice is to encourage sporting activities in Adamawa state, according to Mr Tsamdu the spirit of sport is uniting the people of Adamawa and organisations like MCRP is always making restless efforts to support youngsters in the area of sport.
Mr Tsamdu described the organisation which is championing the cause of unity to the people of not only Adamawa but the whole of North East charismatic movement with Maurice leading the helms of its affairs.
He said it is an unprecedented support in the history of sports in Nigerian for an organisation to donate assorted equipments to include 8 sets of jerseys, 4 sets of Long Cones, 40 pieces of Boundary poles, 10 pieces of Hand gloves,Over 20 pieces of Canvas, Corner flags, 3 sets of Agility ladders and 20 pieces of Socks.
Others items presented by Maurice on behalf of MCRP also are 20 pieces of shin guards, 12 pieces of Ball and promised the club 5 sets of jerseys for 2 for matches, 2 for warm up and 1 for travelling
The Club Secretary of Adamawa United Football Club, Dr Yusuf Chidama further stated that the given by Chief Maurice Vunobolki is unprecedented and will serve as an awakening to all in terms extending their support to the success of Adamawa United
He praised Maurice Vunobolki for being consistent with the activities of MCRP being a sport enthusiast as this is not the first time to have done such a gesture to ensure the Club remains strong and unbeatable in chasing after goals and medals.
“He was instrumental to bringing our home matches to Makwada Square in Numan where the Nigeria Women Football League which is the female Premier League and the Nigeria National League is currently played” Chidama said
