A heartwarming story is unfolding in Adamawa State, where a young girl named Firdausi Sani has been found and is currently in the care of the Doubeli Divisional Office in Yola North LGA. The Adamawa State Police Command is now seeking the public’s assistance to reunite Firdausi with her family.


According to SP Suleiman Nguroje, the Police Public Relations Officer, a Good Samaritan brought the girl to the station, and they are eager to find her loved ones. Nguroje is urging anyone with information to come forward and contact the Doubeli Divisional Police Officer at 07033022600.
This story highlights the importance of community involvement in reuniting missing children with their families, a challenge that many countries, including India, have been tackling with the help of technology, such as facial recognition software ¹. In a similar vein, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps has also sought public assistance to reunite a missing child with their parents.
