In trying to meet up with the dateline of 15th May 2024 for every Business person in the popular Shopping complex to pack out for the Government of Adamawa State under Rt Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri administration to construct a Model Market.

Our correspondent monitored the level of compliance and reported business Men and Women having shops are busy packing out their properties to pave way for the commencement of work tomorrow as announced.

He reported that some of business owners in the shopping complex which is strategically located at Jimeta, Yola North Local Government at the heart of the state capital are seen removing doors, wood, irons, and attachments rushing to vacate premises.

Aliyu Umar, a Phone seller told our reporter:” This government is not joking about their policies, whenever they say something they must do it. Whether we like it or not, it’s a reality so we better pack our luggage and bags and all that is ours to go to where we start life fresh.

“It’s not really ok with the whole policy, but I must confess it’s something in the right direction since the Governor is trying to modernize the shopping complex to be a model Market.”

Kaka Bana Abbana is another business Man who is selling all forms of GMS accessories Commended Governor Fintiri for his thoughtful insight and his development focus.

He said though is painful that is leaving the market but however said Fintiri is doing well and his quest for development is not seen in other states.

“I commend the Governor for his giant strides and development passion. If you go around the state capital you will realize that the state is wearing a New look, there’s a glaring sign that there’s a working Government with people-oriented policies in place.

“If we have this kind of Governor in this country, we will grow better and Nigeria will be better,” Abbana said

He however called on Governor Fintiri to remember them whenever the new complex is constructed.
