The contract extension comes after persistent rumors of a potential move to Saudi Arabia, which have now been put to rest. Salah has been in exceptional form this season, scoring 13 goals in 15 league games and leading Liverpool to the top of the Premier League table.

Former Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero believes this development is a significant boost for Liverpool, stating that Salah’s contract renewal is “the best news Liverpool could receive”. Aguero’s comments come after reports suggested Salah had been offered a lucrative deal by a Saudi Pro League club.
