Rahimi, who made history at the last Olympic Games in Paris by scoring in every match, also talked about his personal journey at the current tournament after missing a penalty in Morocco’s first game against Comoros.

Even though there was a setback, the forward talked about how he wants to stay focused and consistent as the competition moves to the knockout rounds.

Rahimi said his approach and mindset of the team have not changed.

Rahimi said his focus has been on keeping the same mindset as Morocco gets ready to play against the Super Eagles.

He told reporters, “The mentality never changes, it’s the same mentality. Now I am in the good road. Everyone knows this game is tough, but with God’s help, we’ll win.

“May God guide us to win the game for the fans and the people of Morocco.”

His words showed both confidence and a strong sense of duty towards the Moroccan supporters who will be there in big numbers.

Nigeria is heading into the semifinals with a strong performance at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, as they have won every game they’ve played so far.
